The LaunchTown Entrepreneurship Awards seeks students with a technology-based product, service or business idea.

This is an open competition, available to all students, of all majors, from all colleges and universities and includes $10,000 in prizes.

March 13, 2018- Proposals due
April 2, 2018- Semi final presentations 
April 16, 2018- LaunchTown Finals

Maker Faire is a gathering of fascinating, curious people who enjoy learning and who love sharing what they can do. From engineers to artists to scientists to crafters, Maker Faire is a venue for these "makers" to show hobbies, experiments, projects.

A new endowed scholarship fund has been developed in honor of Paul L. Pfeiffer to support the students of LaunchNET Kent State. The prizes will recognize one innovative Kent State student and one Kent State faculty member each year. 

The $1000 student scholarship will recognize an outstanding, motivated graduate or undergraduate Kent State student who is a regular client of LaunchNET.

Flashstarts is looking to fill several marketing intern positions.  These positions are open to undergraduates and graduates. 
Paid Internship $10 - $15 hour. Student teams will be developed consisting of 4-6 students from different majors. 

Teams will develop materials such as:
Market, technical, and supply chain assessments 
Market Verification 
Financial Plan 
Competitive Art Search
